helps communities thrive.
We work with all sectors to secure the best possible outcomes
for not-for-profit organisations, government, and businesses.
Not-for-profits – Strategic communications, securing funding, managing stakeholder relations, brokering and managing business community partnerships
Business - community engagement, strategic communications, tenders and funding submissions
We work hard to understand our clients’ needs and their own particular cultures and contexts. We are good at getting people talking about the important stuff so that the things that need doing, get done.
We help organisations work towards mutual understanding and both shared and individual benefits. We don’t do win-lose; we do win-win. There is something in it for everyone – we make sure this happens.
If your audience can’t understand or doesn’t get your message, you need to try harder. But don’t worry, we can help.
We develop communications plans to inform, educate and manage stakeholder perceptions. We work with you to create the right messages and help steer you to the right communication tools to deliver those messages.
Is there anything better than the letter beginning, ‘We are pleased to advise that your application has been successful’? We can help you get more of those letters, and less of the ones that start with, “Sadly …”.
We work hand in hand with community organisations to source, assess and submit the right applications to philanthropic trusts and foundations, corporate entities and government departments and agencies.
It can be tricky for a business to know who its stakeholders are let alone know how to communicate with them. We can help you identify your stakeholders, develop engagement plans, and communicate openly and effectively. We know how to facilitate open houses and forums where everyone understands the issues and everyone gets a say.
We get a buzz out of sharing what we know. We deliver training in all aspects of fundraising, empowering organisations to bring in sustainable funding from a range of sources. We can work with you to develop your own fundraising strategy designed to bring in much needed funding for your cause.

Kylie has been co-ordinating and writing grant submissions for us for the past couple of years with a strong record of success. That work requires Kylie to speak to many staff members and volunteers across the organisation – sometimes needing to elicit detailed and swift responses. Kylie has such a positive, encouraging and enthusiastic communication style that everyone responds to her requests with enormous goodwill, even though they are busy and not thinking about the submission on hand.
Kylie has an astute grasp of what is required; has a deep understanding of the issues and need and is strategic in her application. I have confidence in every aspect of her work with us and have often asked her to approach an organisation on our behalf, knowing that she will be entirely appropriate in her interaction.
What I love most about working with Kylie is her constant and natural appreciation of staff members’ efforts. Kylie’s interactions with people leave them feeling happy and important; she is an absolute pleasure to work with.
I love working with Kylie. She combines a unique perspective with terrific communication skills, including excellent writing. Community is at the heart of her values and, along with her integrity, guides the way she works.
I first met Kylie just over ten years ago when she was Partnerships Manager for a large corporate, responsible for their corporate social responsibility portfolio. Her intellect, skills and unique ability to cut through to the key issues and actions for outcomes is unique. Her understanding of the not-for-profit sector across Australia is profound – covering her many senior roles as strategic adviser, board member, and volunteer.
